Luna (Moonie) Dawn

Luna Dawn, more commonly known among her peers as Moonie, lived a life full of hardships. Before she was born, her father left her pregnant, bipolar mom, so she never knew a father. When she was 5 years old, her mother had another baby with another man. This man was a bad man. He constantly abused Moonie and her mother, and Moonie had had enough of it. One year later, this man disappeared mysteriously. The police were stumped, and the case remains open to this day. When Moonie was 12, her mom left her and her brother. Her brother was 5. The two of them tried to scrap it on the streets, but a few months later, her brother passed away. He was shot to death in an alleyway by some drunks. Moonie flitted from foster family to foster family, until she finally settled with the Millers. The Millers were average. Consistent, which was just what Moonie needed. Moonie was a smart, athletic kid. She turned her homework in early, all the time. She got straight As. She joined the school football team. At 16 years old, Moonie got a football scholarship to Ravencrest Academy in Meadowbrook, Tennessee. Of course, she took it. Ravencrest was a world renowned school, a chance for Moonie to be a new person, not the asian-american girl with the black family.
